Story:
In May 2025, a man showed up at Luvin Arms with two young ducks and quite a story. He had been hearing strange noises coming from his son’s room while the boy was at school. When he went to investigate, he discovered two ducks in the closet, doing all the things ducks do best and making quite a mess!
It turned out his teenage son had gone to a local feed store and purchased the ducks on a whim. Unfortunately, feed stores often treat baby ducks and chicks as commodities rather than the sentient beings they are, selling them to anyone without ensuring they will receive proper, lifelong care.
Thankfully, this father understood that neither he nor his son was equipped to care for the ducks and made the compassionate choice to bring them to Luvin Arms, where our experienced staff could provide them with the love and care they deserve.
Arriving on May the Fourth (Star Wars Day!), the two were named Yoda and Yaddle. Since then, they’ve grown into the biggest ducks at Luvin Arms, and they’re absolutely inseparable.
