Winnie’s Story
Winnie came to Luvin Arms alongside her sister, Polly. The two came from the same goat dairy as Bonzo and Lenny.
Before arriving at the sanctuary, someone who cared for them deeply took Winnie and Polly in and welcomed them into her life. She loved the sisters and wanted to make sure they would always be safe, but she also knew she couldn’t provide them with a permanent home for the rest of their lives.
That is when Luvin Arms stepped in.
Winnie and Polly arrived together and have continued sharing the close relationship that has shaped so much of their lives. Their former caregiver remains part of their story, continuing to visit them at the sanctuary.
Winnie’s bond with Polly remains one of the most important relationships in her life. The two sisters have experienced many transitions together, and the familiarity, trust, and companionship they share continue to give them both a strong sense of connection and security.
At Luvin Arms, Winnie has the freedom to live alongside people she knows and trusts, build relationships at her own pace, and live a life not defined by what humans once intended for her.
