Trinity’s Story
Trinity was found alone near a dumpster on the CU Boulder campus. She was frightened and hesitant to let the person who found her come close enough to help. We don’t know how she ended up there or what she had experienced before she was found.
Trinity is a breed of chicken commonly associated with rooster fighting, where males are forced to fight, and females are used to breed more birds into the same cycle of exploitation. While we don’t know whether this was part of her past, her breed’s association with fighting says nothing about who she is as an individual.
At Luvin Arms, Trinity has a lifelong home where she can explore, build relationships, and choose how she interacts with those around her. Our responsibility is to provide the care she needs and give her the time and space to feel safe, without expecting her trust before she is ready.
