Story:
Eileen, born March 3, 2024, joined the world with uncertainty. She was born into a dairy farm operation, was smaller than her brothers, and struggled to stand. It was evident she had no control of her legs, especially her front legs. Eileen was taken to CSU by the dairy farm to be examined. They believed she was likely trampled or stepped on within a few minutes of being born, causing damage to her nerves. The outlook of her recovery was bleak. Gratefully, she began to stand but still needed support and would lean against anything beside her.
Due to her physical ailment, the dairy didn’t see her fit for breeding, unless finding her a home, euthanasia was the only other option. Thanks to the vet and the compassion of the owner, Luvin Arms was contacted, and the owners agreed to surround her and give her the deserved opportunity to live out her many years of life.
Under our care, we later learned that her “deformity” was delayed development in her bicep joints, causing the muscle to not develop fully. She now does daily physical therapy with the care team and is thriving! She enjoys playtime with Dezi and Arya!
