Story:
After a desperate call about a cockfighting seizure in Oklahoma, we urgently took in 5 new chickens. When the call came in from them, the chickens were already in transport out of temporary shelter but were suffering injuries, underweight, infested with mites, and in need of immediate, permanent, and loving placement. Our Care Team rushed to bring 3 roosters and 2 hens to a safe and forever home at Luvin Arms.
Logi arrived underweight and very nervous. He had bumblefoot, a painful skin infection on his feet that can become fatal when untreated. Both of his feet were bandaged and wrapped once every three days until he recovered.
Logi is now thriving alongside Dani, a hen from the same rescue. They are safe and free, living the lives they deserve.
