Story:
Greenie and her sisters—Betty, Vinnie, Dolly, Eartha, and Choroki (who sadly passed in 2024) —came to Luvin Arms in December 2023 after their previous owners no longer wanted to care for them. Once backyard chickens, their future was uncertain. The owners had even considered abandoning them, with little regard for the dangers they would face.
Thankfully, before it came to that, the sanctuary was contacted, and Eartha and her sisters found their way to us. Now, they share a space with Squint, a kind-hearted rooster thriving in the love and safety of their forever home. Squint’s flock has truly warmed up and adjusted beautifully to life at the sanctuary. This young, energetic group loves spending time together, exploring their surroundings, and making the most of every moment. They’ve settled in wonderfully and enjoy every adventure as a close-knit, lively flock.
Greenie is a bit on the shy side, but she still ventures over when snacks are involved. She loves nothing more than dashing around the hall during dinner and spending time with her sisters.
