Dani’s Story
Dani came to Luvin Arms following a cockfighting seizure in Oklahoma. When we received the call for help, the chickens were already being transported out of a temporary shelter. They were underweight, suffering from injuries, and infested with mites, and urgently needed care and permanent homes. We welcomed three roosters and two hens, including Dani.
Dani arrived underweight and nervous. She needed consistent care and time to settle in without being pushed to interact before she was ready. As she adjusted to the sanctuary, our team got to know her and responded to her individual needs.
Today, Dani is thriving and shares her home with Logi, a rooster from the same rescue. They will remain together at Luvin Arms, where their relationship matters and both can live free from being used for fighting or breeding. For Dani, that means a lifelong home where she can choose how to spend her days and receive care that puts her well-being first.
