Amy’s connection to Luvin Arms began years ago when she attended a Valentine’s event at the sanctuary. During that visit, she met Milo, who quickly became the first resident to capture her heart. While scratching his back, Milo began wiggling his enormous body like a worm, and a lasting friendship was born. These days, he will sometimes come when Amy calls him, although he is equally fond of playing hard to get.
Over the years, Amy has formed meaningful connections with many of the sanctuary’s residents. Baby Heidi currently has her wrapped around her little hooves, but Milo remains her “main man.” While Milo rarely cooperates when it comes time for a photo, Tito is always happy to pose for a selfie, making him the perfect companion for the photo featured here.
For Amy, Luvin Arms is an incredibly special place because of the relationships she has built with the residents and the community surrounding them. She feels honored to be part of the Luvin Arms family and grateful for the opportunity to know and love the animals who call the sanctuary home.
