The other weekend, a member of the Luvin Arms team witnessed something she’ll never forget.
While driving, she saw a dog attacking a goat. She immediately stopped and, along with others from our team, helped get him to safety.
By the time they reached him, the goat had suffered multiple puncture wounds and severe injuries. The attack was so severe that he lost both of his testicles. He was in shock and struggling to breathe.
We named him Merlin.

A veterinarian came to the sanctuary on an emergency visit. Merlin was sedated so his wounds could be cleaned and treated. He received medication, a tetanus vaccine, and the urgent care he desperately needed.
Merlin is safe now, but his recovery is just beginning.
He will need continued medication, daily monitoring, and ongoing care as he heals from his injuries. Like every resident who comes to Luvin Arms, Merlin will receive whatever care he needs for as long as he needs it.
That’s where you come in.
Emergency rescues don’t happen when it’s convenient or when funding is available. When an animal needs help, we have to be ready to act.
Will you make a gift today to help him receive the emergency and lifelong care he needs?
