EMERGENCY NEEDS: Urgent Hail and Flood Relief
On the morning of May 10th, the Sanctuary staff arrived to find the property flooded and the buildings damaged by an overnight hail storm.
Our dedicated volunteers have rolled up their sleeves to help us clean up, and safely relocate our bird friends to the warm, dry Legacy Barn.
There’s still a lot of work to be done.
We need your help raising emergency weather-related funds. Please donate to the cause today.

One bale of hay costs almost $15, and our residents consume ten bales a day.
So far, we’ve raised over $10,000 to fill up our hay barn this Spring.

Tempeh-Making Cooking Class
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: Tofurky’s Founder Seth Tibbott will be hosting a special tempeh-making class at the Sanctuary on Sunday, June 11th at 11am.

Forever in Our Hearts

Eli the rescued duck passed away at the end of April.

Our sweet Lily was surrounded by her loving caregivers on May 1st as she peacefully passed on.
