Nov. 24, 2021 – Luvin Arms is preparing for the cold weather by holding a hay drive in honor of Colorado Gives Day 2021. Contributions raised during the campaign will help put food in their animal residents’ bellies for the entire winter season.
Coloradans are encouraged to join the statewide Colorado Gives Day movement by supporting their favorite causes like Luvin Arms on the Colorado Gives website. Every donation made directly through ColoradoGives.org/LuvinArms on Colorado Gives Day is boosted by the 2021 Colorado Gives $1.6 Million Incentive Fund. The Incentive Fund amplifies the amount of every donation made on Colorado Gives Day by giving nonprofits a percentage equal to the percentage raised.
Besides the Incentive Fund, donations made to ColoradoGives.org/LuvinArms will be matched up to $12,000 by a generous Luvin Arms’ donor on Colorado Gives Day. Donations can be scheduled in advance!
“We love and take world class care of our very fortunate residents here at Luvin Arms, and we also realize that speaking for the billions not yet rescued is an important part of Ahimsa – nonviolence toward ALL beings,” says Kathleen Jefferies, Volunteer and Administrative Director. “This is a time of the year when hearts may be especially opened to the plight of farmed animals.”
Luvin Arms is also partnering with Denver’s Corner Beet restaurant on Tuesday, December 7, 8:00am-3:00pm Mtn.When diners mention “Luvin Arms” on Colorado Gives Day, the Sanctuary will receive 10% of proceeds that day (before tax and tip).
