Make
Toys For Our Residents!

Like you, our residents love to play! Make enrichment toys/treats for our residents to enjoy out of produce and basic supplies!

6 Step
Treat Enrichment Garlands For Birds

Step 1

Purchase fresh, organic, healthy ingredients from our wishlist page. Our birds especially love cranberries, grapes and spinach. They also make a nice complementary color pattern when strung together!

Don’t forget to tie a knot in at the end of each grouping of the treats.

Step 5

Position each group of treats a few inches to a foot away from one another.

Step 6

Drop off your treat garland at Luvin Arms ASAP for a fresh enriching treat for our bird friends! Let us know you’re coming ahead of time so we can thank you in person! The birds will be very thankful too!

Other
Toy Ideas

We would also love to see some of these ideas from Open Sanctuary Project come to life at Luvin Arms! Such as the stuffies or a baby pool for tactile enrichment, a cardboard box with cut out windows and doors to hide in for a novel experience, or some ornamental mirrors or CDs for room decor.

Reach out with any quesitons!
