Gertrude’s Story:
Gertrude was on her way to slaughter when the crate she was in on the transport truck fell off. 74 chickens survived this accident and were rescued. Along with Gertrude, Luvin Arms cares for six other chickens from this accident, their names are Helga, Eloise, Rose, Helen, Beatrice, and Irene. Gertrude lived with her six friends at Luvin Arms. Gertrude was a friendly girl, she loved interacting with visitors and caretakers.
