Jamie brings over 20 years of mission-driven nonprofit leadership to Luvin Arms, offering strategic clarity and heartfelt expertise to support strategic operations, including the fundraising team. She also serves as an Education Specialist, welcoming guests to the sanctuary and connecting them with the residents and their stories. As an enrichment volunteer, Jamie works with Po, Flora, Fauna, and Tito, providing them with connection and opportunities to learn skills that support their daily care.
As the founder of Build + Bloom Consulting, Jamie specializes in interim leadership, strategic planning, event strategy, and program development. Her approach is grounded in “bringing calm to the chaos,” helping organizations, like Luvin Arms, lean into structure and strategy without losing their compassionate core.
Jamie is also the founder of Flora + Fauna Experiences, offering custom travel planning, conscious event planning, compassionate tours, and cruelty-free group travel. Through this work, she deepens connections between kind travel and conscious living, weaving animal-focused experiences with advocacy.
When she’s not working or volunteering at the Sanctuary, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, seeing live music, trying new vegan restaurants, staying active while exploring the outdoors, and caring for her dog and two cats.
Favorite Memory
One of Jamie’s favorite memories at Luvin Arms is when Flora and Fauna, who were once scared and timid around people, began joyfully recognizing her and running toward her instead of away. That moment marked the beginning of a deep, trusting bond and remains a powerful reminder of the transformative connections possible with all animals.
