Anne found her way to Luvin Arms after working in various fields, from geology and operations/event management to running her own small businesses. Her journey took a few unexpected turns, but she discovered her true passion in animal advocacy. Her previous nonprofit experience was in the political side of advocacy work, but finding Luvin Arms felt like coming home.
Here, she can blend her skills in crafting meaningful experiences with an organization whose values of compassion and respect for all beings align perfectly with her own. As Experiences Coordinator, she helps advance Luvin Arms’ impactful educational mission by building connections between the public and residents that inspire more compassionate choices.
Favorite Memory
Before visiting Luvin Arms for the first time, Anne had never met a turkey and instantly fell in love. When she squatted down to greet Gus, he walked right up and sat on her lap; he’s surprisingly heavy, but the sweetest snuggler. She now loves telling everyone that turkeys give some of the best hugs around.
