Join us at Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary for our Community Days in 2024, where we open our doors for FREE to the community, 11am – 2pm! These special days celebrate the bond between humans and farmed animals, allowing you to visit our sanctuary at no cost. It’s a chance to connect with our animal residents, hear their inspiring stories, and spend time with fellow animal lovers in a serene environment.
We will have a produce drive for our animal residents at each Community Day! Our residents love leafy greens, zucchini, squash, cooked potatoes, carrots, apples, grapes and watermelon. Your donations are SO appreciated!
2024 Community Days:
- October 26, 2024 – Hug-A-Sheep Day: Hug-a-Sheep Day is a special event where people can visit sanctuaries to spend time with rescued sheep, celebrating their gentle nature and learning about their unique personalities. This day also raises awareness about the ongoing efforts to close Superior Farms slaughterhouse in Denver, the last remaining slaughterhouse in Colorado. We encourage Denver residents to use their voices and vote to help make this vision a reality, ensuring a future where all sheep are treated with compassion and care.
- December 10, 2024 – International Animal Rights Day: Reflect on the rights and welfare of animals. We invite you for a free visit to engage in meaningful discussions and connect with our animal residents.
