Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary – Community Days 2024
Join us at Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary for our Community Days in 2024, where we open our doors for FREE to the community, 11am – 2pm! These special days celebrate the bond between humans and farmed animals, allowing you to visit our sanctuary at no cost. It’s a chance to connect with our animal residents, hear their inspiring stories, and spend time with fellow animal lovers in a serene environment.
We will have a produce drive for our animal residents at each Community Day! Our residents love leafy greens, zucchini, squash, cooked potatoes, carrots, apples, grapes and watermelon. Your donations are SO appreciated!
2024 Community Days:
- January 1, 2024 – Veganuary: Start the year by exploring a compassionate lifestyle. Enjoy a free visit to our sanctuary, meet the animals, and learn about vegan living.
- March 7, 2024 – World Plant Power Day: Discover the power of plant-based living. Wander through our sanctuary for free, meet our residents, and partake in discussions about sustainable food choices.
- April 10, 2024 – National Farmed Animals Day: A day to appreciate and learn about farmed animals. Visit us for free and hear the unique stories of our animal friends.
- June 8, 2024 – National Best Friends Day: Enjoy a summer day with residents and their best friends. Bring your best human friend and discover the unique bonds all sentient beings have with each other. An exciting day to spend with your bestie!
- July 9, 2024 – Cow Appreciation Day: Spend a day with our gentle cows. Come for a free visit and experience these magnificent animals’ kindness first-hand.
- August 3, 2024 – National Senior Companion/Animal Day: Learn about the day-to-day needs of caring for elderly farmed animals.
- August 22, 2024 – World Plant Milk Day: Learn about the benefits of plant milk. Visit us at no cost and enjoy a day with tasty plant-based treats and educational talks.
- October 3, 2024 – World Animal Day: Celebrate the animal kingdom. Our sanctuary is open for free visits, where you can learn about animal welfare and sanctuary life.
- November 1, 2024 – World Vegan Day: Celebrating and learning about veganism. Visit us for free, engage in vegan cooking demonstrations, and connect with our animal residents.
- November 13, 2024 – World Kindness Day: Embrace kindness towards all beings. Join us for a free visit and participate in activities that spread compassion and care.
- December 10, 2024 – International Animal Rights Day: Reflect on the rights and welfare of animals. We invite you for a free visit to engage in meaningful discussions and connect with our animal residents.
